Objectives

  1. Reduce indoor air and atmospheric pollution caused by the emission of toxic smokes during the cooking. The use of wood fuel on inefficient cooking stove is at the origin of this problem.
  2. Improve the health status of women and their entourage by reducing the quantity of smoke from wood emitted during cooking.
  3. Reduce expenses made by poor households in buying fuelwood, charcoal, kerosene and domestic gaz. This objective could be reached by the introduction and vulgarisation of innovative cooking techniques which greatly reduce the quantity of wood, charcoal, kerosene or domestic gas used for cooking in poor households living in slums and rural areas.
  4. Educate the population on the benefits of a healthy environment
  5. Promote the discovery of nature and the protection of biodiversity
